Reginald Hill, Founder and Executive Protection Specialist
Reginald Hill is a dedicated public servant with 23 years of experience in the Chicago Police Department. Throughout his career, he responded to emergency situations, prepared detailed reports, and established effective communication with in-district resources to address crime-related issues.
As a District Tactical and Gang Officer (2003), Reginald engaged in high-risk drug enforcement activities, executed search warrants, and conducted undercover surveillance. In the Special Operations Section (2007), he focused on enforcement activities in high-crime areas and participated in specialty assignments to combat narcotic sales and violent public acts, including shootings.
From 2008, he served in special functions, providing dignitary escort for presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama, where he secured a position as exterior perimeter security and worked closely with the Secret Service.
As a Community Police Officer (2011-2016), Reginald acted as an aldermanic liaison, covering newsworthy events, attending community meetings, and identifying resources to address crime and community concerns. He also engaged in follow-up investigations.
During his time with the CAPS Area Response Team (2016-2020), he prepared reports for supervisory personnel, engaged the community in problem-solving efforts, and coordinated multiple agency enforcement initiatives in collaboration with community organizations. Reginald served in the 005th District until his retirement in 2022.
His training includes U.S. Army service, CPD Peace Officer Training, CPD Dignitary Training, CPD Homeland Security Training, and CPD GIRT Training, which encompasses hazardous situation response. He is also certified in CPD annual weapons qualifications and carbine certification.

Paul Vallas - Advisor
Paul Vallas is an esteemed advisor for Global Executive Protection, bringing a wealth of experience in public service and leadership. He served as the interim superintendent of Bridgeport Public Schools from 2011 to 2013, where he focused on improving educational outcomes and fostering community engagement.
In addition to his educational leadership, Paul was the Democratic Party of Illinois nominee for lieutenant governor in 2014. He has also run for significant political offices, including governor of Illinois in 2002 and mayor of the city of Chicago in 2019, demonstrating his commitment to public service and civic engagement.
With his extensive background in education and politics, Paul provides valuable insights and strategic guidance to Global Executive Protection.

Eddie Johnson, Advisor and Retired Superintendent, Chicago Police Department
Eddie Johnson is a distinguished advisor for Global Executive Protection, bringing a wealth of experience from his three-decade career with the Chicago Police Department. Appointed superintendent in April 2016, he led the second-largest police agency in the United States, focusing on building a culture of community partnership, reducing gun violence, and implementing systemic reforms around police accountability.
During his tenure as superintendent, Eddie implemented a data-driven crime strategy that resulted in a significant reduction in crime rates in Chicago, including a remarkable 38% decrease in total shootings between 2016 and 2019. He also championed crucial reforms to strengthen accountability and public trust, contributing to the establishment of a model police department. His efforts led to the adoption of a federal consent decree that was developed collaboratively with police officers.
Eddie joined the Chicago Police Department in May 1988, serving throughout his career in the Detective Division, Gang/Tactical Units, and the Bureau of Patrol, where he ultimately rose to the rank of Chief. He is a former member of the executive board of NOBLE's Chicago chapter, the St. Jude Board of Directors, and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation Assistance Committee.
A recipient of numerous awards for his contributions to policing, including departmental commendations and the Chicago Defender Men of Excellence Award, Eddie is also pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy from Northwestern University. A Chicago native, he grew up in Cabrini-Green until the age of nine, after which his family moved to the South Side, where he continues to reside.
